In this 3 hour 'LIVE' online workshop you will learn how to manage your anxiety to enable you to function better, have more peace, think clearly and make decisions and to have better sleep.
How you breathe determines which nervous system is activated. Yoga has used breathing techniques (pranayama) for thousands of years to maintain, restore and balance mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health. I will guide you through various techniques in order that you may find one that resonates with you.
Meditation, or stillness, is a process of becoming aware of your unconscious thoughts. By being aware of the 'stories' we tell ourselves, we can begin to change those 'stories' to ones that serve us better. Meditation is a means by which we learn what they are. Not every meditation involves the same process and some methods suit some better than others. We will look at a variety of methods so that you can become familiar with and comfortble to practice on your own.
Tapping on the body's meridian points moves energy around the body. Stimulating the body's meridian points taps into the body's own ability to heal and repair itself. We will look at a simple process to lower the body's reaction to anxiety.
Throughtout the workhsop I will also introduce you to various crystals and essentail oils you may wish to use to support you.
We will finish the workshop with a gentle, lying down restorative yoga practice before settling in for a 50 minute yoga nidra session which is said to be equivalent to 8 hours of sleep.
You will end the workshop not only feeling relaxed and stress-free but also empowered to manage your anxiety on a daily basis moving forward.
